heyz, hiz. i'm glad to stay my stomach is close to perfect again. one teacher was saying that food poisoning is good in that it can help to cleanse my system. i bet it certainly has. ever since sunday, i've not visited the toilet ever since, at least to do major business. well, but anyhow, it's still important to be able to do your business. i felt well enough to do PE today and i took the chance to take my weight... you know what.... i reached a level i've never seen ever since sec 2 or so, i weighed in 57 kg. can you believe it? i normally weight aroundf 60-62. i was 62 before my enforced cleansing took place. i lost 5 kg just coz of that. man....

today's pe was a revelation. it showed me what a game or sports can do to a person. it brings out in people things that you might normally never get to see. when you're in the classroom, it's difficult to observe alot of things.

we were doing pe today, it was double period so we got to play handball. i was trying to take it easy since this was the first time i was exercising ever since i had fallen ill. my stamina's gone, my control's quite rusty... lots to work on. our version of handball was to hit the basketball support post with the handball and that's what both teams are supposed to do inorder to win. i was pretty excited and when i saw my first goal-scoring opportunity, i jumped lightly and with both my hands on the ball, i hurled the ball towards the post. problem was there was a defender at the post, that was mark. he was incensed that i used so much force to throw the ball as the ball just barely missed his head. if it had hit him, he'd have been in quite a state. luckily, it hit the post and missed him. it counted as a point for my team. that left him incensed. he was furious that i threw the ball so hard and muttered very loudly that i had no sportsmanship and that my team was like that. u know, if he didn't like it, as he has always been telling us, he'd tell the person straight in the face. instead he indulged in some primary school behaviour, muttering so loudly as the game went on. the game of course got progressively rough and more unsightly, i got whacked twice in the process on the back, and knowingly, it was thrown by mark on purpose. i didn't mind that, took it as part of the game and all. what i don't like and can't stand is people uttering and shouting vulgarities during a game. where was the teacher u may ask.. the teacher wasn't even there, she was somewhere else... dunno where.

it finally reached a point when i decided enough was enough. who can stand playing a game with people giving dagger looks at each other and playing so 'passionately' as if their lives depended on the game. for goodness sake, we're in s'pore, not colombia, where they kill soccer players for scoring an own goal at the world cup. moreover, we were one class playing among ourselves. if u called playing tough as enthusiasm, i'd most certainly agree, but definitely not uttering vulgarities. that's coarse and stupid. y curse n play, might as well pack up and not play... i stormed up to mark and told him to stop his vulgarities... we were practically shouting at each other and i was surprised the teacher still hadn't come around. he told me he was pissed at my earlier act of missing his head so closely, i apologized and was prepared to continue with the game, and reached out to shake his hand.. he refused and said it was alright. it certainly was... it improved. i decided to cool off a bit and stayed away from the play for a while. it helped. it helped that although we all continued to play feverishly, it wasn't like the initial displeasure everyone seemed to have for everyone... we actually enjoyed our game... this is a first experience and it most certainly wouldn't be the last.

today, after a talk on ntu admissions for engineering and a talk on lasik surgery to correct myopia, i went down to the canteen to catch some late lunch. i tell you, losing 5 kg is no joke. i feel like skin and bones man. during the talk, i managed to guzzle down a snickers' bar. i had a proper meal downstairs of mixed vegetables rice before getting a cup of soursop juice. i finished my gp essay in school before buying a pack of popcorn to munch on the way home. manz... this almost week long break from eating has certainly left me more hungry and more ready to eat again. i'd be needing to go to a buffet soon. suddenly, it's as if i'm eating for the first time.... i love food.... until i hit 60 plus kgs again.. yeah! :)
