i just got broadband connection. can you believe i just got broadband? no longer the slow turtle, no longer the guy who keeps getting disconnected... well, i've just upgraded to the singnet unlimited access plan, a 512 kbps. it's a rather big jump from my previous student dailup plan, working on a 56 k modem. previously, my net was used just to access my email accounts. researching for information was just too long and tedious, to a point it got so irritating that i've almost given up researching on the net, at home at least. my computer stays old, i have some upgrading plans, but being so IT illiterate, not knowing lots of computer terminology, i'll be enlisting the help of my friend. i hope to change some parts, like my graphic card and my speakers. i think if i can get my mouse port to work, that'll be blissful too. currently, i'm working with a keypad mousepad. it's weird but i've gotten used to it.

so faster connection and faster access, here i come! well, at least from next thursday onwards...
