On thursday, my class went out for dinner after our gp reading package test. the test was ok, completed all 'cept one question. we made our way down to dan ryan's for dinner. it's near tudor court which is near tanglin mall. i guess what keeps most of us away from there are the prices. it's pricey, but the place is great. a fantastic ambience and the food was of gigantic proportions, as the menu forewarned: american portions. we all dined till we were stuffed, for once, the guys couldn't finish our food. in school, we clean our plates our bowls, slurping up every last morsel of food. it has been quite a while since i had a late night out.
i would love to go again, only if i could pay a little less. this class of mine, it's got a way to go. just the day b4, we received a talking to from our teacher. there was this racial harmony competition to decorate our class noticeboards and our class ended with a near empty board, lest for some frivilous inspirational quotes tt i printed. john was supposed to be incharge but he didn't do anything. i felt guilty too, being classrep n not doing anything about it as well.
after mr how left, i spoke to the class. one benefit is such a small class is easy to handle and we are more like a group than a class. we all agree that something needs to be done. firstly, i want to ensure tt no one in this class goes the same way i have, to be retained. it's a horrible feeling and u need to be me to know how it feels like. we are all going to pass as a classs. this means pushing each other on. i believe it can be done.
our class spirit will come along naturally. having dinner at dan ryan's showed me what sort of class we had. it's good and we all get along pretty well....
here i am again going off to a stayover. it's at sentosa's shangri la, jason, my classmate is having a birthday gathering there. will be staying over b4 sharing a cab with my friend to make my way home. there's quite a bit of work to be done at home but i've done some, so i'll rush the rest when i get back on sunday morning.
i'm also faced with a new situation. but i'll come to terms with that in time. hey mandy, good luck for your exams( the rest of them) and take care. i care.
