just got back from suntec and a very fun day i had today!
after i transformed into a pig and back again, after all that sleep yesterday, i was quite resolute in doing my work today. but it was just not to be..

i was tempted by my red alert(ra) 2 cd that had been sitting there collecting dust for a while already. so i took it and started to play. manz, it was so fun.. it did take a while to get used to it, coz i wasn't smooth and all, and plunged straight into playing online with other players, i was thrashed on all 5 occasions that i played. getting thrashed and thrashed and thrashed. but i had lotsa fun playing...

then at 2, had to leave to meet my parents to have lunch/dinner at raffles city. it was tim sum at the grand city restaurant. unfortunately, it wasn't the top class experience i had expected. the food was soso; cold and therefore not so nice. the service was crappy, the waitresses were looking as if they wanted to chase us out asap rather than serve us. the whole restaurant was packed; customers could use a coupon giving them 50% discount and so everyone was there to utilize that benefit. i'll make sure my next tim sum visit, possibly in september, will be a much better one. :)

went to carrefour to pick up fudge's abc macaroni, will pick up his gel and cork later. haiz, feel like a houseboy but it's fun, esp since he's so caught up rite now... next time, i'll make him buy more stuff for me, of course he'll be paying.. hahha!
no lah, joking. anway, was there for quite a while, steering a trolley that saw my brother in it half the time, the other half he was pushing it from behind. needless to say it was crowded and it was difficult maneuvering it tru the crowd.

after our purchases;bought quite a bit. stayed on for an hour to catch the 'suntec dance 2003'. it was the second qualifying session, there are to be three and the finals in on the 20th of september. while some of the dancers were really good, there were also others who were just as bad. the first group were a group of girls dressed skimpily, and i thought it was quite bad, if u have no shape, just cover up man! then there was another young girl, mid teens or something, dressed in bikini and had this see through short black dress over it. and the kind of songs they danced to were also of similar genre. there was this group of guys who did a little chinese hip hop, and they were stunning, they lit the crowd with ther style and coordination and when u see a good item, you just know it.

after that, hopped on taxi and here i am, home. "this is home truly, where i know i must be... this is where i wouldn't be alone, for this is where i know it's home.." well well, yah, so to a better sunday, a more productive and acadamically fulfilling one, cheers! cheer me on people, if u can! :)
