manz... yesterday was a pigging out day, good for me i suppose, coz i really need to eat now. but at the same time, i'll be looking to exercise even more.

in sch, there was national day celebrations and the dancers who had taken part in last year's national day parade took to the floor, the area between lt1 and the auditorium, they weren't part of the performances for the day but they took to the floor like fishes do to water, and promptly took away the attention from the performers on stage as soon as strains of "deep in my heart, i just know..... right from the start...." and they certainly wowed us. i tell you, i'm like so elated to see them dance. really brought back the memories.

last year, mandy was in the national day dance. the same dance was repeated again this year, except the dancers were in school uniform instead of the bright red costumes and shiny gear... if mandy were here, she'd be so happy and would want to join in the dance again.she would just love to.

and after all tt singing, with my voice a little strained, i had a takopachi snack( those 3 japanese balls), i had mine as ham and cheese. i was with wesley and we sat at bugis junction food court and after tt sat down and talk. wait wait, listen, this is just the beginning of my makan barrage. after tt, met my family for lunch, and went to this jap restaurant, i had a sashimi meal; this is the first time i've tried something like that. normally, i'd have tempura or the don or cutlet, but for a full meal, this was new. my meal was the most uncooked of all five of us. btw, bryan won his race in the pingpong race and came back with a nice gold medal. i'm happy for him and he's really proud of his achievement.

spent the afternoon at bras basah complex, and went to a coffee shop to have a drink. we were so comfortable there, my sis n i took out our work to do tt we stayed there for dinner as well... it's like eat, walk arnd, eat again. it was a sumptuous dinner we had, the food was good and the crowd was hot.

and after dinner, we had durian. we had initially bought 3 fruits for 20 dollars and a fellow patron couldn't finish her fruit and gave it to us, so tt was 3 1/2 fruits for us.. the meat was perfect and phew, was i full... never had such a feeling day in a long time already.

one more thing,

another thing, i've got 2 places in mind for makaning chinese food. one's in commonwealth and the other is purvis street near bras basah complex near bugis junction. and as for tim sum, i've got 2 restaurants already.
