The National Day weekend is over and it's back to school, for the umphteenth time in (17-6) years... come to think of it, schooling has and is taking up a VERy VERY large proportion of my life; in retrospect, schooling is to help me prepare for the many challenges ahead of me in life. Your life and mine, we must decide what we want to do with it. we must decide what sense we want to make out of it, we must decide for ourselves the lives we want to lead, to live. it's in our hands... but then again, schooling has taken up a veryvery large part of my life...

this week is one heck of a week. i've got 2 tests coming up on thursday, econs and gp. next week, i've got a physics and maths test, the maths to start of my week, the physics to end my week.. i shouldav expected it, the timetable so packed, sch work simply piling.

and ladies and gentlemen, i want to announce that i want to be considered a smart guy. u just wait and see. you see, the reason is that my beloved girlfriend has just proven herself to be close to perfection. for her recent exams, she got a 9.5 out of a possible 10 for her GPA mark. that's awesome and fantastic man! i'm so glad that her hard work is finally showing tru. that is something i must match, or if i could venture, better. i look forward to the challenges of doing so, but i know, for the victory of doing so is tempting and very satisfying. CONGRAts dear, you did it! keep up the good fight, always behind you here... miles away, but never that far away.

back to school: today we had PE and played against another class. it was a very skillful and competitive game of soccer. both sides had 2 girls each, but the girls hardly played as the guys just made the game their own. i was playing goalie and stayed goalie the whole game tru, despite my attempts to switch with my classmates. tru out the game, i had to make several saves and because of the absence of defenders, i had to play keeper and defender at the same time, it was so strange, there was always 4 attackers from the other class at any one time, and they had enough defenders as well... in the end, we lost 6-4, i found out that we were outnumbered by about 4 pple. *ouch* but that didn't deter us. i had my whole body bushwhacked all over the place. the first shot came right at my right thigh, very close to 'lil' wz ( haha) and the next one would have got me there if i hadn't turned. as a result, i got whacked on the back of my left thigh and it still hurts now.but my heroics continued, i was constantly throwing myself at the ball or at the players from the other team. one of my classmates asked me y i had to change my specs to the 'obiang' looking brown framed one for pe and she finally understood when a stray ball somehow found her and caused her glasses to fly off her face. tt was bad, the culprit was so apologetic after that. i must have resembled a monkey, jumping around, punching the ball everywhere, moving around trying to pester the opponents into mistakes... my wild clearances, a results from working overtime in front of goal got the ire of the others and one of them actually asked me if i was playing for the new jersey JETS... (haha). i was hyperactive, jumping around, tackling. i fell over another guy, whacked another guy on his ankle by accident... the passion of the game really got me there. sorry for the bhb, but actually all i want to say is, it was a great time i had today during pe.

a few more stuff to add, durians are nicer eaten chilled. and, acjc indians(j1) are funny. i was running late for cl class and got onto the first available lift. it so happened that i was the only chinese in that lift, the rest were indians. the moment the lift doors shut, one of them remarked that it was a "coloured lift" and they saw me, and the whole car full of guys burst into laughter, thunderous laughter. and they didn't stop laughing untill we reached the fifth floor. and gracious pple they are, i was actually invited to exit the lift first. it's just so funny man...
