yesterday night was quite enjoyable. because of inter-consituency that i had partaken in june, and because our yee tee team finished an unprecedented 2nd overall, we've all got goodies. firstly, there's 200 dollars worth of sports vouchers. secondly, there' s20 dollars for a celebration meal. and we had our meal yesterday. we were to meet for dinner, got there early, and met our co-ordinator, jimmy. he passed me 16 dollars for pool entry and transport allowance, not bad, never expected that. later was i to know that it would come in handy. i passed him my receipt for my world of sports vouchers. i'ma member and i can use my 15% discount on top of those vouchers. that's approx 215 dollars i get to spend, i've till march 04 to spend e vouchers.

we makaned at bali thai restaurant, serves thai n indo food. vjay, our very chatty all encompassing story teller ordered our food. we had a great variety,sotong, fish, otah, tahu goreng, beef redang...man the list goes on. the meal was more for catching up and talking and i didnt eat tt much. u see, our team has 10 people in all, of which only 6 turned up yesterday. one girl and i are the youngest of the lot. so the table conversation was dominated by the elders. they work in different positions, waiter, fund manager, general manager, swimming instructor, so on and so forth, and they're all married as well. so being at the table just makes me feel very young. they were sharing their experiences, on waiters taking revenge on unreasonable customers in the most abhorrible ways, drinking sake n beer till they lose all control, learning to move and stack transport lorries... the list goes on. i didn't say much but i could only listen on with eagerness. and another part: there's this new member to the team. i don't train with them coz i train in sch, it's more convenient. she's my age or something and the older guys were just teasing me, saying tt if they were me and wanted someone slim and fast, they'd know where to look. u seee, they've just seen her once and she probably went faster than all of them, probably even lapping them, tt's y. haiz, i was about to tell them tt i am attached, but they didn't continue and i didn't have to.and you guessed it too, during training, they should be training, but u know where their attention was diverted to... haiz, but i'll join them next week, just to TRAIN.

the meal came up to 304 dollars, a hefty sum. tt included, service charge, gst, all extra charges.. blahblahblah. so ended up tt on top of the 20 dollars provided for already, we had to fork out extra 10 dollars each. tt's when my transport allowance came in handy. i took my leave, went up to the top floor of west mall to the arcade to play the tennis game. i think tt's the only remote controller game i'm good at there, apart from tt, i cant play soccer for nuts or any other controller game for tt matter.
