contrast the cool C. highlands to the hot ipoh city. after 2 cool nights at c.highlands, we headed down to ipoh for a night. the first night was ok, makan and headed back to rest. it was late and didn't want to stay out too late. like any town, it has it's fairshare of nightlife and it was pretty evident.

yesterday was simply a joke. my dad feel ill in the morning after some disagreeable food he had for breakfast. we had actually intended to go places but instead spent the entire afternoon stuck in the hotel room. we checked out of our room and moved to a smaller room. so for about a good 5 hours, we were stuck in a double bed room, all five of us. u can't get arnd the place without being able to speak cantonese, so mum had to go out to get lunch. it was kinda fun, having lunchin such cramped conditions.

my brother is such a livewire. he's so full of energy and when we were at c. highlands, he wore a gray jacket that i had worn exactly 11 years ago. it was so nice to be able to see him in tt. i had worn such a long time ago and he was wearing tt once again. i'm glad my mum kept it. anyway, during tt 5 hours, he amused all of us by wanting to play uno and chinese chess. i'm embarrased to report tt he beat me three times in chinese chess consecutively. sighsz, but i'm glad he's so sharp at it.

so tt's about it for this holiday experience. back home, in singapore, i've got lifeguard duty for the next three days starting wednesday evening. and come sunday, mandy will be back. i've got much to look forward to, including my sats next saturday. cya all soon.
