acjc has caught onto the Romance Singapore fever, one whole year after the singapore government launched it. i seriously can't imagine singaporeans having to bear w the romance singapore campaign every february if it were to be taken as a serious annual campaign.. y on earth do singaporeans need to be told n encouraged to love, give and receive love? to me, it doesn't make the slightest sense.. it should aunatural...

well, back to acjc. it's been flowing w flowers, poems, songs, lollipops, sweets, bears, balloons... everything associated w sweetness and love and the tenderness tt valentine's day is supposed to have has been brought about in school. everybody, in the spirit of fun-o-rama and w the students council in action, the school's v-day celebrations have certainly been very very spectacular this year. certainly so as compared to last year.. it seems tt there hasn't been much control this year, yet this has also shown how uncontrollable and amazingly naive we teenagers can be w regards to this simple yet complex topic of love.

mr how n mdm malini also expressed their disinterest in this day.. 'it's for the young ones' they say, how true. at their age, i can't imagine them being excited about valentine's day all over again. for mr how, his greatest gift this v day has got to be his baby daughter. he related this story of his colleague who decided to stroll by the beach, and it was a great v-day gift, because, love, if i may say so, is not about the money u spend on ur dinner or gifts. it is about what u do w ur loved one, what u are to him or her. one who is bothered about what he or she receives and makes so much noise about not getting a present from you, ought to be shot. it is what u are to him or her, what u present to him or her, tt shows the love between you two.

needless to say, it hasn't helped me stop thinking about mandy. v-day.. hope u have a great time over there in ozlandsydney... can't stop thinking about u, here w/o, thinking about u all the time, dreaming abt u... loving u
