saturday was smashing!

after a gp term exam tt left me wanting more, it was just right tt i went out with wesley n jason. the application question was very delicious, lots to right, but the clock hand moved faster than i liked. so due to a lack of time, i didn't manage to finish the aq...

went afinding for a present for my sister. i was lazy to think of anything, so for her birthday, i got her a book. it's called sushi for beginners...but it's a novel and i hope it's relative to what she's going through riight now and will go tru in future. also went afinding for a magazine, wanted to get something exotic n unusual, however, my search didn't turn out too well, so settled on teenage. we were at borders' for an hour, wes n jazu caught up on some reading. then, being the famished guys we were, we headed down to heerrens' for some march lunch. along the way, we bumped into so many students selling flags.. it was just amazing.. they all sell their nkf flags on orchard road, every corner was a student or a group of them... seriously, the different uniforms helped to paint the orchard road of saturday.

i've not been to marche' in recent times. the place is so nice. i tell you, it's just perfect to sit down and talk after makan. i had a rosti, w sour cream n this snail pork sausage.. cost 9 bucks.. cow.. walking around the prices can really put u back. luckily, there's no additional charge(gst,service or whatever), so u pay what u see. but the prices there are premium, but hey, u pay for the extra touch.. i'll say it's the ambience n the makeout of the whole place. it's very interesting. i'd like to go back there soon. when' i've topped up my cash balance. had a mushroom soup tt put me back some 3 and a half bucks, but it was not bad, it really topped off my meal.

later, it was some pool time with wesley n jazu. lucky to have bumped into jason's friend, whose j1 but looks older than us. speaks the way too. we played arnd an hour or so, then it was time for all to go. i picked up my new sound card from joseph,my technician, must get the speakers from ruiping soon as well. spent some time browsing the magazines at orchard library. the magazines are quite interesting. will spend more time reading.

dinner was at katong. found out tt the restuarant we were looking for has been relocated to a coffee shop. nevertheless, had a very full dinner and moved on to have dessert at haigen daiz. wah cowz, the dinner n the dessert cost the same .. so it's 60 bucks all together, abt half half like tt.
