some ramblings about valentine's day..

it's really commercialised, it's a really a day when things are priced at ten times their normal prices, it's a period leading up to a day where the shops get to promote love and to advertise love and be forgiven for committing daylight robbery in the form of jacking up prices of this n that; flowers n meals...

but i think it's still a special day no doubt. it's this special day for the young ones, according to my gp teacher, so it got the whole class guessing what she'd be doing on valentine's day..

i wouldn't be celebrating valentine's day the way i want to. sadly.... i mean the idea of flying over to australia to surprise my dear would be very good, but i'd say i just don't have the means.. maybe next time.. maybe next time. valentine's day is still special.. it's still quite new to me.

i just wish tt everyone would stop being so commercial about the day itself. look at it this way, just count on yourself to make everyday a day for you to love.. to care.. to share.. for tt special someone, all your special friends. even if u miss out on the chance to express yourself this valentine's day, there's always the next time.. nono.. not the next v-day, but a better time for the right thing. do it right, do what u think is right.

anyway, in the absence of the love singapore campaign 03', i wish everybody a happy and loving time. my love to the one i love most... muakz!
