Where is the love? Where exactly is the love?

a discussion at gp class today did some wonders in bringing me to my senses. it has suddenly dawned on me tt this world, despite all the benefits tt science and technology has brought us, is not any better in our humanistic value and moral sense. much suffering still takes place, information travels so fast nowadays and has the ability to ruthlessly upheave peace and stability, threats hang heavy over our beings as nuclear powers go in and out of peace talks to resolve amicably their disputes.

and all these times, the worsening times in our world andour time, have come about due to the lack of interest in the area of arts. the study of our human values and human worth. the pursuit, the rentless pursuit of excellence in science has somehow enabled us to ignore ourselves. y are we causing so much hurt for ourselves? y isn't there enough heart in us?

aren't we all supposed to have progressed? y do evil thoughts still pervade our private moments and the extent of hurt can be considerable if actually enacted... it is such a perplexing and confusing moment.

we need the arts. we need to revive it, expose ourselves to it. we need the balance in life. please, ladies and gentlemen, we've got to do something about our world. we can start w ourselves. this long and arduous process will not see us succeeding so easily, but if u try, there's always a way.

but of course if u're already such a beautiful human being in ur own ways, just keep and tt and let's make our world - our world.
