i watched two shows yesterday. one was a love story, another was a tragedy

e tragedy did hit me where it hurt. it made me realise that i'm very lucky to be having a comfortable home to return to, and to have all that i could possibly want. it was e tale of how this turkish family w their 6 year-old bright eyed son had escaped from their homeland into the Switzerland and the treacherous journey which involved scaling n crossing the swiss alps which was to end in tragedy. they had to avoid detection by the Swiss police, and in fleeing e chasing police dogs, the group of illegals attempting to enter switzerland were scattered all over the snowy mountains, with little protection against the bitter and icy cold snowy conditions. father and son were separated from the the mother. the mother was rescued but the father and son were still staggering aimlessly arnd the mountains. what happened was tt the poor boy eventually succumbed to the deathly cold and help came too late. the grief displayed by the father and mother, in separate instances, was just so immense. my gosh, i will never want to go tru that experience, but i have to realise, tt that is how life is sometimes, such cruel blows. i wouldn't be taking those reports of stowaways dying halfway tru their journey so lightly anymore. they have plenty of reasons for choosing to do things illegally, but they may be forced by the circumstances sometimes.

the love story, was typically sweet. i think i just need a bit of this to keep me going sometimes. and u know, as a little reminder n wakeup call to being romantic as well.
it's just the simplest things u can do, eg, sitting there and not saying anything, but so much passes tru u all the time.. that's just simply great. tt's y love is so great..

and i still think shao hui ain't as funny as alan..
