of the three event i signed up for, i only participated in one. missed the 50m and 100m breastroke events due to injury and laziness. i didn't train all week, didn't touch e swim pool water one bit, didn't really exercise at all.

so it was really a remarkable surprise when i clinched the silver medal in the 200m breastroke event. but here's the catch, this is a 2 horse race, only myself and this national swimmer. more to the catch, he finishes almost one full lap ahead of me, my time: 3 minutes and 9 seconds. his time: 2 minutes and 23 seconds. a little bit more;he's 2 heads taller than me. ok, i'm short.

so i was pretty surprised to have clinched this medal.

dinner with alan and angeline. wah lau.. laughed my lungs inside out man! this guy, he's confirmed funnier than shao. he doesn't need to do anything. but i shall abandon the comparism of shao n alan here, it ain't fair to either of them. we dined at breeks where angeline n i stayed away from the american course and took korean food instead. haha. i had this nice beef rice thingie, w lots of generous greens. angeline had that n more, a serving of ginseng soup. alan, he joked n joked, got angeline so angry(haha) that she couldn't eat properly, same went for me. he made friends w at least 3 waitresses, he's just so smooth there, wish i could have been as smooth as him. we had a pretty cute and good looking waitress, a china chinese waitress, and the one who brought us to our seats who had asked us to let 2 groups overtake us. all the time i was on e phone w mandy, so i didn't know much. but alan smiled n said no problem, angeline was just positively hungry n a little angry.

funny thing is that after the makan, she was still angry. coz she didn't want to just wander around. we had talked so much that we didn't know where we were to go. anyway, spent some time in the toys' section. i've discovered a way to spend my ten dollar taka voucher now. the three of us went arnd toys' section as if we were discovering new stuff. haha.. it was funz. really funz. wanna go back there again.

imagine asking the waitress if u need to pay for plain water.. at breeks.. just imagine.
