there is one answer to american democracy. there are opposers to the american ideals of democracy and how democracy should be practiced. one should take note that such practices come straight from the land of the united states and the reason why democracy is such a 'correct' and 'approved' ideal is because the americans are the ones advocating it.

countries that want to be different have 2 ways of going about it. firstly, it will mean resisting all the ideas and values expoused by american democracy, perpetuating a closed door policy and resisting everything 'american'. such a country must have the resources to survive on its own without the 'wonderful' effects of globalization, where in the name of free trade and democracy, other countries make it their business to be in your territory.

secondly, it will mean coming up (inventing, formulating) with a completely new system of operation that will ensure novelty and uniqueness. the question here is about combatting the superpower of the world today. how can you possibly envisage going to your opponents to play the game they are best at. take football for example, for sometime, no teams could play the game of football(soccer) better than the english. however, while the english continued to think that their style of play was the best in the world. and the english continue to believe so. in this case, soccer is the business of managing a country. the styles of playing the game are the different systems we have, democracy, marxism, communism and so forth. so the americans are the originators of democracy, they have the pure blueprint of democracy. however, like the state of english football, is it the best? english football today is not the best in the world today. the brazilians, the italians, the germans have proven to be better practitioners of the game. they weren't the originators,were they?

likewise, american democracy is not the best in this world. there are a lot, plenty of flaws with the democratic model that is expoused by the americans today. that is y it is difficult to say which is the best for each country. the americans very much want to convince the world that what they practice is thy best in the world and for the world and sometimes, a certain degree of arrogance tinges with which they preach their system of governance. but is it for them to tell us this is the way?

the uyruguans, brazilians and germans , just to name a few, did not choose to copy the english way of playing soccer. as can be seen in samba soccer, long balls are not the norm in the game, which is very much characteristic of the english game. we play our soccer in our own countries, and we are supposed to be at liberty to choose our style of playing the game, of running our own country.

in summary, either we change our practice of democracy by adopting varied styles or we formulate an entirely new system of governance that is in our best interests, we must be content with living in our present state. and for change to occur, a force of very significant magnitude must be applied to erase the high degree of inertia that is omnipresent, that is y change causes friction and is at times, difficult to see tru.
