it's sweltering hot out there.. please take off all ur clothes..

ok ok ok, i'm just copying the song. how unoriginal..

but i'm feeling really hot. just had morning training. some swimmers are so hardcore they'll train like twice a day. i'm barely standing after one session, and yet there are some who will go out there and just marry the water like we all have to do when we train. you've got to coax the water, make it work for you, make it ur best buddy, and together, the two of u, u and water, will ride the highest waves, take the deepest plunges, and go forth.. as one.

reality check. jiao lian ( coach) called us together and debriefed us before training. total points calculated before competition, the girls and boys squads are some 60 odd points behind rj, this is based on the times all the schools entered. so if u look on paper, acjc is the underdogs for both sexes. but as they all say, it's never over till it's over.

i feel myself getting stronger and fitter, although my sleeping at the study table doesn't quite lay testatment to that. i'm not considered one of those who is clearly in the finals, but i'm heading in that direction. so if i do get my wish and make it to the finals, i'll be an underdog w my dream come tru. any point taken away from rj is truely precious.
