let me introduce the ants in my house. the are a lovely lot. they come to the front line all the time, risking their little lives, inching along the walls close to the kitchen sink, transversing from one end to the other. and there are the small black ones, and the slower red ones.

they have come to my attention, and have at times, caused me to go ballistic. it's really a destructive attitude i adopt towards them. in their antsy world, they have their basic survival to think of. i am however, quite indifferent in times when i find their presence in the kitchen preparatory area.

i've come up with this way of clearing ants. instead of killing them w my fingers or trying to crush them or using a cloth to wipe them up, i now use a masking tape to remove them. it's way more effective, esp since certain ants are quite difficult to catch.

i visit them from time to time. ants are smart. they know when to come out, and when to stay in. given my recent devastation, i've noticed they have scaled down their operations. perhaps, they've found another way to move around.

i'll try to keep to my side, as long as they don't infiltrate kitchen so blatantly.
