now i've attained my social requirement for the holidays, i shall now have to channel my energy into my studies.

euro is finally underway. and what drama so far.. the france england shocker among others, and that's what football is about. i'm glad that there is quality football played out there, and it can only be a positive sign. contrastingly, the football in singapore is in a dire state and needs to be rescued. it doesn't really help at all that our teams don't give us the incentive to support and cheer them tru. what they've failed to establish is a regular record of success that can speak for the reliablity of the team. comeon singapore, i'm sure there is better football in u guys.

i had my medical on wednesday and got a pes A. i found the routine of trooping from room to room quite interesting, but the whole process was efficient and hassle free. you find that these ns guys, just a couple of years older than you and me, are some wisecracks who also have their fair share of jokes and corniness. had these two guys who were talking abt their other colleagues, in a roomful of pre ns enlistess who were quiet. and it was interesting hearing them banter.

however, i found the mental test quite tiring. no, they don't put electrodes above ur ears and run electric currents tru.. but there were just so many questions asked.

pes A is pes A.. pes whatever.. i hope my 2 years in the army is an enjoyable time. i hope to make the most out of it. i think, what the heck, that's a path i'm taking, no matter what, and i'm not going to be all negative and reluctant about it. live life to its fullest!
