gurms really did it that day. he's the head of pe at ac and he is one of the officials at the swimming nationals.

i walked past him on my way to the starting blocks for my 100 swim. he told me, "have fun" in his singsong voice.. haha, i couldn't help but smile.. what a comment at that time, but it was quite different from the normal good luck and all the best.. truly, even if someone told u good luck and all the best, it really wouldn't do you much good. ok, so here's a new one, have fun! that's true too, u should have fun in whatever u do.

and as if by plan, we met again as i exited the pool after my event, i called out to him with gusto, "i had fun!" i really did, i was also quite happy that i had qualified too.
