'do not think that you are God's gift to the English language'
these are strong words from my gp tutor. she is visibly and understandably worried for the lot of us as our prospects for gp as a class look cooler than a ice cold can of beer.

contrary to the message she is sending, i feel it is really up to us. your gp essay is very much a reflection of the train of thoughts that travel through your mind during the duration of the essay. what is called for is the structure and consideration of mind to present your 'jumbled' thoughts clearly and concisely. would u not be pleased if u could get across to the person reading ur essay without he/she questioning your argument?

we come in with varying standards of the English language. however, it will not stop us from being unable to perform to standards that we so desire to attain. set ur standard and work to it.

be clear and very clear about ur gp essay, and go about convincing the reader, that u do, have a brain capable of dissecting information and presenting strong opinions. your gp, though not God's gift to gp, will be of fairly good standards.
