the lifeguard and swimming juniors did stuff and i was on the receiving end.

it's so sweet and nice of them. the lifeguard' gift was this small glass cup with some glass pebbles and a nice candle in it, with it was my name and ac lg imprinted. i got it this morning, and came home carrying it on the train. the swimming' gift was this normal sized cup with scented dried flowers in it, complete with a squarish base and written on the cup was ac swim team.

i would not do such things for my seniors. i wouldn't even think of it. just that preparing gifts is not my thing and it'll be someone else planning it if i were to help. perhaps i'm not that reflective sort eh.. comes across as ungrateful. i don't think it affects the way i look at my seniors, because in all respects, they have taught me and guided me.

swimming gathering gave me a chance to be blown away by the sure magnitude and elegance of terry's house. it sure is big and it just wows me. wesley and i went for a short ride and i had the honour of hearing wesley doing his version of popular songs on the piano, and boy, can he play!
