it hasn't been a week since the A's were over and it already seems like ages since i last took up a pen, read a textbook, flipped my notes or simply carried out an activity pertaining to the course of academic study.

in the course of the past few days, i've been up and about, been actively exercising and results are showing with the weighing scale dropping slightly. i've been playing badminton, swimming, not so much running and yet to play soccer. but it's great to be back exercising and doing this stuff i like. it just feels really good to be stretched and feeling the aches. of course the army will make the muscle aches a more permanent issue, but that can jolly well wait.

i was out at a bbq yesterday. heyho, it was this gathering of friends of a group of friends. u know, friends bringing other friends along. i was at costa sands with ying, lim wei, xuan n siti. yeah, if u're informed, i'm odd there. nonetheless, the four of them tried in their ways to accomodate me. i now know the feeling, at least a little better, of being lonely or shall i say, extra? but i should never shy away from new experiences, and i believe getting tru one will make me more prepared for more to come. don't get me wrong, i think it's lovely when people get together and spend their time with each other, exclusively, because they care and well, love each other.

i've been scouring the classified ads for jobs. i sound out, would anyone have recommendations? a job in the hotel industry is quite hard to come by, although there are plenty of openings for admin assistants and clerks.. not to forget the hostesses at ktv bars, who must be 'young and attractive' .. looks like i don't qualify. i better move fast, i've got four months ahead of me, i don't wanna miss the boat.

there are some people i'll love to meet come this break. it's e holiday period and orchard road is swimming with youngsters and teens of all ages. i was out with a couple of my friends, one of whom was searching for an appropriate prom attire. i don't know. i really don't know what to wear, it's such a hassle. arghz. tt's y my tentative plan is to wear trunks, although i wouldn't be able to pull it off. the bare neccesities are a proper shirt, long pants and formal footwear, if u want, a tie and even a pullover or suit. people are coming back from overseas, got some friends i'd like to meet. there are also some friends who are going abroad, would like to meet up with them too.

meanwhile, it's nice to have books around. i just finished one story yesterday. it's awesome and i liked the mystery. there are many around, it's important to vary or risk sliding into boredom.

i've been going crazy over badminton recently. just on monday, i played three hours at bishan with wei xuan, mark and some others and promptly went home to continue for another 2 hours with dickson. that was madness. i was so shacked at the end of the day and till today, the butt still aches of that day's overexertions.

it really is time to pack my room. i'd like to think so, but i just can't bring myself to do it. perhaps, it's nice to see dust settle on my books.

it's wei ming's birthday on sunday. he's been dropping hints ever so often all of last week. it'll be fun unearthing the right present for him. he's really enjoying himself with his thrice weekly badminton trainings and i'm happy that he's active in school. i can forsee great stridings for him and the future is one of boundless and endless oppportunities.

well, that'll be abt all today, tata.
