had a very very satisfying blogging adventure, updating myself on my classmates' blogs and their tales of army life and the future of their army lives. it is very very interesting and it sets us up nicely on our meeting on saturday where we'll share regal stories and hopefully enrich each other in the knowledge that more is better and hearing is indeed believing.
i made a discovery along the way, siwei, i've got to talk to you. wow.. small world.
my internet( READ computer) is down again. it's frustrating, but my 'repairman' is currently tied up with adapting to his new environment, so i'm internetless for now.
have been working and buying stuff and of course preparing for the new year. this year i turn 20. tt's big, it's like 20 already. so fast. not here yet, but will be there. 20, isn't that the time when everything happens and your life that comprises ur career and steps pertaining to starting your own family take place? in the chinese new years' ahead, perhaps in the next 6-8 years, the hongbao practice will be reversed completely. will i be ready then?
life is indeed a lot more interesting out of school. it becomes so because in sch, most of us are in our comfort zones, whether we are regularly in dc or not, and we cannot see our world that we step into for the future. now, be it working, thinking, being in the army, there is a change in the kind of thinking we indulge in on a daily basis. we stop worrying about our physics assignments or gp essays and start to consider our friendships that we want to sustain, the routes to follow on our way in this world. but perhaps this is too scary for some of us, making us so willing to step back to sch and be only bothered with the sole worry of studying well.
this is when our the words of our parents come flowing back to us...
