live-firing for the matador and the m2o3 is over. swell weapons; the matador is way heavy and very bulky but since it's far more effective,it'll do the job. m203 aiming can be quite tricky but i can imagine how much firepower a section will possess with all the weapons at hand and at play.

the top event of the week has to be my memorable soc run. during the course of the week, i ran the soc twice with a full load: sbo, sar21, 2 full water bottles, 4 dummy magazines. i hit timings like 14 minutes and 15 minutes; hardly encouraging when i was about to go for the actual test the same week. Well, in OCS, we make things happen. It was a culmination of the mental preparation and the physical focus before, after and during the run.i'm glad i perservered and now i don't associate fear with the soc, it's been conquered and it can be done all over again in a time of 9 mins 10 sec.

this is effectively e last full week i'll spend in ocs bravo wingline for a while.i'll be out in the field for the next 3 weeks plus doing section field camp n patrol field camp, livefiring n exercise spade. honestly speaking it's exciting but tough times are ahead indeed.

there is also the sispec crossover to look forward to, the new bunk mate i'll get, the third since my first day here.shifting bunk today was terok man. the layer of dust was incredible and it was dirty just about everywhere. my new platoon mates n myself cleaned up our respective bunks like crazy. no choice, orders are orders. moreover, we are short of a shelf in the kitchenette, a working fan in the drying yard and this leads me to conclude tt the next few days will be spent using the area we came from.
