this is incredible but all i talk about here is the army. this is not very right; i spend 6 days a week in camp and the only day i come out of it, i talk abt the beloved saf. i apologise to all offended readers.

let me continue with my greenish ramblings.

live-firing is very safe and is technical. it is about getting used to the feeling of handling a weapon with live rounds to make one so aware of the responsibility and risks at stake. the feeling of the weapon going off is something you'll get used to after a while. i had plenty of opportunities to execute IA drills. i was silently cussing my weapon with it's half spoilt extractor which just simply refused to extract the spent catridge efficiently. Another big activity after the actual live-firing is the collection of RAIs (recoverable ammunition items) this is to mean picking up blanks and sorting out the expended blanks and the non-expended ones. with live-firing, we also have to retrieve our catridges. my double experience as the ammo party for the section live-firing and the section quick attack has lead me to understand the way the people at the ammo dump work. it's a mundane job, but none less impt.

'hell'winder ( kalwinder) says, " i'll break you to mould you." would you believe him? i believe him. he is capable of any sort of punishment. he wants to make platoon 2 ( my platoon) the best in the wing. very forseeable tough times, unimaginable forms of bonding ahead. but at the end of it all, we'll be sure to have the best toilets, bunks and with regards to spirit, tt can work itself.

needless to say, there is a lack of sleep, always short of time. i wonder if the saf credits i have in my 11B can buy sleeping hours. well wz, you wanted it, you accept it like a man. if not, have the courtesy to opt out. you're not obliged to stay here.

if anything, it's the warm company of a considerable number of acsians that makes the coming days more bearable. fellowship and comradeship will prevail.
