Yes, i did it! Aim set, aim achieved. i have given myself the birthday present i set out to achieve 6 months ago. Not to have to renew the pdl, instead to pay for yet another administrative fee. U know, if the 50 dollars could be saved if i went down personally, i'd opt for it.

This is a sweet birthday present. At first, when i stepped in the 'famed' bbdc, guided by the buddy's smokey direction, i was a bit awestruck. Here were pple who were actually capable of controlling a four wheeled vehicle, able to hit speeds of up to 35 km/h within the circuit. Then came the shock of having to part with $500 immediately, to a machine. What struck me was how everyone seemed to understand the system in bbdc, and were using with relative ease. Months on, i'm one of the hundreds of 'lao-jiaos' here and i can easily spot a budding driver-wannabe. Having said that, the feeling of elation was simply indescribable on thursday. it was fantastic to have passed on the first try. it was all the more sweeter because i once again beat the odds. When it all doesn't seem too good at first, the eventual result is thoroughly appreciated because it was so 'unexpectedly good'. But is this not healthy? Setting little or no standards only to rejoice at having attained some standard later on? It may not be really good in the long run.

The 14 points were really special. My trial test was worth 50 points. A certain day is also on the 14. twice of 14 was also the date on which i took the test. 14 was twice of the test route 7 which i was assigned. Ladies & Gentlemen, my story of 14.

My first time in range, as conducting. Man, this is thrilling. i hope to do a good job and gain confidence from this. my job is still unravelling itself. The extent of it is baffling. I'm guilty to admit that i'm in a semi-ord mode already. I want to use this time well. The time spent outside must be more productive than what i have to do here. I realise, at the end of the day, it is not so much what is said by you. It is more of your effectiveness as the wheel to forward the process you supposedly assist.

A good dinner beckons tmr. I get to dress up and look,yes, 'handsome'... ...
