Such is life, that we move on in phases, closing one door only to open another.

I've moved on from life as an officer in the army to life as the solider at home, i/c for all things related to household chores. My mum fully appreciates the purpose of area-cleaning in its life-long sense; the onus is to continue from here. Cinderella? :)

Fleeting around the offices of NSOTS and NSHRC, through all the picture-taking, i found it hard to believe that it would be the last day i would be in this camp on official duty, as a NSF, as an ASO. The people who have held this hand, guided him through difficulties and the various states of confusion and bewilderment are the people who helped this YSL learn the ropes of his trade and lifted him to a level of competency that is unlike no other. A first of my kind, along with Daniel, we broke the grounds and set the platform for our successors. The perogative is for those after us to expand upon. While I am no expert on NS matters, the past year has been a blooding, a year of great expectations one of learning, not only for the job, but of handling relationships.

I have been adventurous in a way no career-minded employee would dare think of. This has all been good, positive for its postives and negatives. To Miss Sukuna, Mr Sara, Yvonne, Joyce, CPT Brendan, MWO Steve: endless encounters in the proximity of our offices have enabled us to draw closer. To Hidayat, Faiq, Syukur, Iskandar, Edmund, Calvin and Ronald: in the midst of exasperation, draw together and gain strength from each other, you need one another. To Lye Zheng, Patrick and Zhong Yi: Officers will come and go and we maintain the professionalism expected of us and complete our tasks with distinction.

To Daniel and Junhao: We made it! We came through together. We fought and barked at each other, we stepped on each other. In the end, the journey in this office has come its end. This closeness and level of understanding; I look to continuing this fantastic relationship we, the trio, share. The journey of life, does continue.

A journey of 1 year and 10 months. 07 April 05 - 06 Feb 07. It's not about the pink i/c. It's about the experience.
