The first exam, the start of the deluge of exams for the next 4 years.

And after so many years of testing, in this meritocratic system, you'd think exam jitters would be piece meal. I will need a bit more time to shake it off. But it feels so good to have sat for that first exam, getting it over. I look forward to the coming exams, not out of a fetish for exams, but for each exam is a sign of progress.

And i'm guilty of injuring my friend with my left foot. While playing soccer, i struck the ball goal-wards and it struck his foot, inadvertently caused his foot to land awkwardly. The howl of pain and the inability to speak thereafter was evident of the extent of damage. While it was a freak incident, the guilt has multifolded because he was planning to leave for a M'sia holiday, and a diving trip at that. We all don't like to pick up injuries, but it is the timing of this injury that exacerbates the situation. Think of his accompanying gf and you get a rough idea. Bad, just bad.

So, be careful of me, and take care.
