At the end of 3 weeks of school, the orientation period is about to end and the initial excitement dissipating. The life of this student has been rather low profile. I hear my friends regale their hall activities and unearthly hours they hit the beds, the parties they attend and daily dinners they do. It's really fun and all in the spirit of living under one roof. I do not get to relate a similar experience because i'm not in hall. However, I'm ready to get the most out of the alternative experience. I have learning to deal with my own company and enjoy it. The sense of independence moving around campus may seem somewhat anti-social to the perennial need to be in a group setting. This, however, is not uncommon and I think this puts me on a better platform to befriend the foreign students. It is a unique opportunity made possible by the local administrators that the universities have such a diverse pool of nationalities. The foreign invasion mentality we have belie the importance of sharing and exchanging.

9. A baby takes nine months before he releases his first scream. An officer cadet trains nine months before he is deemed ready to shoulder official responsibility. Our nine months is approaching and we ready for the coming financial and academic years, academic and audit peak periods, personal and interpersonal challenges. These lives, planned or spontaneous, are to be enjoyed.
A journey of faith and belief, rolls on!
