The first item under shared ownership is a Deuter 35+10 backpack. It serves with immediacy. It will be off to Vietnam for 5 days and then to Kelantan for 4 days by the turn of the year.

I left those gates, and made for the station gantries. There was waving and smiling at those gates but making it beyond the gantries, the sullenness struck suddenly. Has the need to need become so strong?

A week ago, a beautiful dinner at E-sarn was enjoyed. The food was certainly tasty and what really mattered was that I had what I wanted, if it was the only Ting i wanted. Allow me to relish once more the glass noodle salad, that lovely chin-cha-lok fried mixed vegetable egg, the succulent bbq pork with a most exquisite dip and the interesting hybrid wings served up at E-sarn. The coconut ice-cream was really a very welcome finishing touch to a well-decided and well-prepared dinner.

The next day's dinner at Singapura restaurant was an experience to relish as well. The cold crab, for so long a speciality of the Fuzhou restaurants, was tantalizing. The special prawn rolls were surprisingly disappointing. The steamed fish head was stupendous, along with the Chinese cabbage. Dinner was rounded off with dessert at Rochor Bean Curd, stayingly fresh.

I have taken up part-time lifeguarding at the Civil Service Club at Bukit Batok. The slightly above average weekend pay makes it worthwhile.

Last of all, Exams are fast approaching!

Have a blessed week. Smile!
