The first full semester is over. The exam period was particularly memorable, with the bunking over night at hall, sleeping irregular hours, cramming so unheathily before those papers, with the information bag bursting at its seams, threatening to fall apart and possibly losing everything it withheld. Such was the fear that struck, the panic of being incapable.

How can studying actually be that enjoyable? I can make it so. But not with the way I did it this time. Rushing and panicking my way to an exam sitting has shown that there can be a better way. Firstly, consistent exercise helps the mind to take off those seemingly irrepressible pressures. The senseless flipping of tv channels is a hopelessly mundane task that should not be occupying precious sleeping time. A much earlier start must precede the daily grind of churning out tutorials. The procurement of important text was achieved but it must be seen through with more time spent to sort out the probable initial confusion of incomprehensible information.

Next semester is some weeks away. I'm not looking forward to it at this stage, but i'm keen to implement the above pointers.
