The shock came when i read my email last night. And the day in school as posters of my lab partner in hospital were flashed at the canteens and in the lecture halls. This person whom i did lab work with last semester was now in hospital, stricken with cancer.

And it is very heartening to know that people have a heart, with their outpouring of support for a person most never knew. May this support translate to a recovery that will see my lab partner in school, striving for the excellence that he came to Singapore to achieve.
